Since childhood, Jason's imagination was captivated by Disneyland's enchanting realms. His early experiences, sparked a lifelong passion for creating story-driven experiences. This Southern California kid was recruited to be 'Big Al,' the mascot for the University of Alabama, learning how to engage audiences through character-driven narratives. Winning the 2007 Disney Dream Job contest furthered his journey, allowing him to serve as a Jungle Cruise skipper at Disneyland. These experiences laid the foundation for his innovative career, dedicated to creating story-based experiences that connect with audiences on an emotional level.

Co-founding Brandiose out of his college dorm room, Jason discovered the transformative power of placemaking in sports branding. Alongside his his lifelong friend and creative partner, Casey White, they infused local culture and stories into each team's identity, creating a deep, emotional connection with fans and breaking merchandising records. Jason applied his passion for storytelling and theme park experiences to Minor League Baseball, helping sports teams think like theme parks, from graphic design and character use to concessions and promotions.

Jason's career took a pivotal turn when a car crashed into his home on Christmas Day. This unfortunate event, coupled with mentorship from Disney Legend Tony Baxter, became a turning point for him. Tony urged Jason to apply everything he taught him to remodeling their home. He applied the principles of Narrative Placemaking to redesign and rebuild his home, transforming a moment of destruction into an opportunity for thematic design.

Magical Masterclass emerged from Jason’s desire to master the art of Narrative Placemaking and share this knowledge with others. This weekly show, featuring legendary creatives, demystifies the art of Narrative Placemaking. It empowers others to create places and spaces that bring people joy and happiness.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jason is committed to giving back, allocating a portion of Magical Masterclass proceeds to support arts education for the next generation. This continues a legacy of mentorship and generosity, tracing back to Disney Legend Claude Coats mentoring Tony Baxter, who in turn mentored Jason. It’s a cycle of mentorship and giving back that enriches lives and continues the tradition of turning imaginative visions into reality.
